WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU
YOU ARE NOT ALONE
Our Attorneys Are Here To Help You Through This Tough Time.
Witnessing or being subjected to illegal conduct at work can be extremely traumatic. Whether it is sexual harassment from a co-worker or supervisor or an employer requiring you to violate the law for their own benefit, it can consume and devastate all aspects of your life. What makes it even worse if that if you need your job (and most people do), you can't simply walk away without a second thought. You're caught between three difficult alternatives:
You stay and remain silent, likely facing an unbearable environment at the very location where you spend much of your waking life.
You leave and potentially face serious financial problems.
You stand and fight.
We strongly suggest the third option: stand and fight. Both federal law and Minnesota state law provide you with a way to not only end the sexual harassment but to hold your employer liable for both the sexual harassment and any retaliation you may suffer from rejecting sexual advances or fighting back against the harassment.
I had to quit my job as a result of the sexual harassment by my employer. I contacted Bryce, and he ventured an hour to meet with me about my options. He held that employer accountable for the way I was treated. He supported me all the way to a successful jury verdict in my favor, and because of him I gained validation and vindication for what happened to me. You have to trust your attorney, and I feel Bryce is one to be trusted and had my best interest in mind.

ANSWERS TO FAQs: KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
What are the two major forms of sexual harassment?
Both federal and Minnesota law divide sexual harassment into two broad categories:
What do I have to prove to win a retaliation / whistleblower claim?
You must prove that: You engaged in protected activity, such as reporting sexual harassment. Your employer knew or believed that you engaged in such activity. You suffered an adverse employment action (e.g., firing, demotion, or being passed up for promotion or any other action in punishment for making a report). The adverse employment action was a response to your protected activity.
What makes me a whistleblower under Minnesota law?
Minnesota law protects any employee making a report to their employer or a governmental body that the law is being violated. It also protects employees that refuse to engage in illegal conduct and are disciplined for that refusal. This is a very broad protection for Minnesota employees.
What are anti-retaliation laws?
Whether you are reporting sexual harassment or becoming a whistleblower, Minnesota law protects you from retaliation. This is a broad protection and protects from any actions by your employer that punishes you from making a report. While you have these protections under the law, often it is the presence of an attorney that will keep your employer from retaliating. We can help.
